The GroutFit Coupler™ is a mechanical connector used in precast construction, designed to join reinforcement bars efficiently. Featuring a half-grout system with one threaded end and a hollow cavity for grouted rebar connection, it ensures high-strength structural continuity between precast elements. The L-Series offers higher tolerance and flexibility, ideal for standard construction requirements.
The connection process involves inserting the rebar into the coupler cavity and filling it with high-strength, non-shrink grout. After curing, this creates a strong bond that transfers tensile forces efficiently between the connected bars, achieving full structural integrity. Groutfit Couplers are available for rebar sizes from Ø12 mm to Ø40 mm, making them versatile for various construction projects.
